The San Diego Volleyball Club, a non-profit organization, has been a part of the community for 21 years. We proudly continue to teach volleyball skills, teamwork, and self-esteem, in the spirit of competition.
Under the guidance of our Head Coach Dave Whittaker, our quality coaching staff uses the latest instructional techniques in individual and team play to provide a successful volleyball experience for each player.
2006 SUMMER CAMPS:
July 17-20, 2006, 9:00am to 11:30am - Boys 10th Grade & Below Skills Camp - Perfect for players of all levels from beginner to elite. Cost is $120 per player.
July 17-20, 2006, 12:30pm to 2:30pm - Girls Setting Camp - Setters camp focuses on footwork, hand positioning, setting styles, tempo and offensive systems. Cost is $100 per player.
July 24-27 10:30am to 1:00pm - Girls Team Camp - Provides high level training for individuals and teams. Cost is $120 per player.
July 24-27 11:00am to 1:00pm - Girls 6th Grade and Below Skills Camp - Individual skill introduction and development, accomodates any level of player from beginner to elite. Cost is $100 per player.
July 31 - Aug 3 10:00am to Noon - Girls 7th Grade and Above Hitting Camp - Learn the approach, hand contact, shot selection, power emphasis and blocking. Cost is $100 per player.
July 31 - Aug 3 10:00am to Noon - Girls Libero Camp - This camp focuses on the defensive specialist, but will also benefit those big attackers who need passing and defensive reps. Cost is $100 per player.
Aug 7-11 9:00am to Noon - Girls Freshman Camp - Combine individual skill work, position training, and understanding offensive/defensive systems. Cost is $160 per player.
Aug 7-11 1:00pm to 4:00pm - Girls High School Varsity Camp (10th Grade and above) - For the elite athlete that will compete for a position on their varsity team in the fall. Session will combine individual skill work, position training, group drills and various competition formats. Cost is $160 per player.
Aug 14-17 1:30pm to 4:00pm - Girls 8th Grade & Below Skills Camp - Perfect for players of all levels beginning to elite. Cost is $120 per player.
Aug 14-17 7:00pm to 9:00pm - Boys High School Camp - Combine individual skill work, position training, group drills and competition formats. Cost is $100 per player.
Aug 14-17 7:00pm to 9:00pm - Boys 8th Grade & Below Skills Camp - Primary focus on general skills; serving, overhead and forearm passing, hitting and blocking. Cost is $100 per person.
